Not him, but I get your point. My point is that less ingredient density lets you enjoy the flavor of just tomato pizza sauce. Diferent bites diferent tastes, etc. Alos lest fatty-like experience.
American pizza is good, Italian pizza is good. No need to turn an italian pizza into an american one. But to each his own.
