A few weeks ago. I asked for a menu, and the waitress said they didn't have them and I had to scan a QR code. I said I don't normally take my phone outside of home, and she laughed. I told her I wasn't joking, and said "I know." So I said I'd just have an orders of fries and a Coke, and snuck away when she went to the kitchen. I felt so humiliated, but I still don't see why I should be expected to always have my phone.

I was at a Sonic once sitting in my car. Some of the servers there ride around on skates to get around faster, although a lot of them end up busting their ass. I saw one guy skating while I was waiting on my food. He was going along to the other side of drive-ins and just as he was doing so, a truck began backing up and ran right over his head. His brains flew out about ten feet away and I heard a loud crack noise as this happened. I left before seeing any of the aftermath.

a guy making my burrito fucked up rolling it causing to rip in the middle, he just wrapped it in foil and handed it over. i was too beta to say anything so i took it and went home. obviously it all fell apart right away when i opened it but i still ate it.
