I think the bone in fried chicken they have in the deli is amazing. Also the subs they make for you are great. The Italian sub and the chicken tender sub (with swiss or mozzarella or whatever cheese you want melted on it with whatever spices you're interested in) are essential Publix kino.

Yes they have a great selection and much better prices than the other regional chains. Their beef is good quality stuff too but it pisses me off that they don't carry Prime steaks. I feel so bad for all the people who don't have access to Big W tbb lol

I like publix's deli, dessert section and customer service/shopping experience but they're stuck in the middle of two choices for what they want to be. There's a Sprouts and Target right next to my publix. Sprouts beats publix for produce and fresh goods (meats are about the same quality-wise but sprouts has better deals and pre-marinated stuff, publix has custom cuts and better fish) and target beats publix for all other non-consumables. It's like they want to be a megastore and a "farmers fresh market" at the same time and end up being neither. Their sandwiches and deli meats are top tier though
