It may not seem like it at first, but many of the most elite internet cooks bump elbows on this board. They like to stay low key, and it's likely going to fly under the radar of lurkers and new readers. But heavily cloaked in memes and irony there is infinite culinary wisdom for those who are patient enough and keen enough to decode the messages from these gastronomic giants. It takes a little time, but you'll start seeing it soon enough anon

You don't go to 4chan for inspiration of any kind. If that's your plan you're going to have a really bad time. Most people who "enjoy" being here enjoy it because they/we can get really drunk and bullshit with each other without being tracked and held responsible for whatever was shitposted. In that sense, 4chan for those who know it is a shady bar 50 miles from home filled to the brim with degenerates inebriated on their own autism. You can get in all the bar fights you want, say whatever you want and wake up feeling worse but relieved no one remembers what you did, not even you. Until the jannie nation attacked.

I will humor you and post what i just had for breakfast at 4pm

heat olive oil on pan with black pepper, salt, white pepper and oregano

>chop mushrooms and bell peppers however you want, it really doesnt matter

once olive oil is hot, toss the veggies in and stir it around

>chop spinach however you want, use more than you think can possibly fit, trust me it will fit

toss in pan and stir it around, sautee veggies until the spinach is thoroughly reduced

>thinly dice a single clove of garlic and toss into pan, sautee until it is pungent. try not to brown it.

now crack an egg and toss it in. If it looks like too little, do another egg.

>you know how to cook eggs, i hope. Once it's done how you like it, put it in a small bowl or on a piece of bread

you have egg scramble. enjoy
I like eating it with chop sticks since its so savory. slower eating method makes the salty mediterranean-ish flavor pop more. otherwise I found its best on sourdough.

>> No.17135470

/ck/ is unironically the worst board on this site. half of it is commentary on youtubers, the rest is either prattle about fast food chains or people arguing about asinine things like "what objectively the best type of pan" or "what are onions good for? do onions even do anything?" the few times people actually share recipes everyone replies with frogs and wojaks and calls it "sloppa," or it's some dumb meme like bread in the shape of a ukrainian mukbanger's asscheeks. this place is to cooking what RYM is to music

I stopped putting peas in carbonara and found that to be correct, it was just the recipe I learned, and other little tips like that I can't remember which is really the best you can hope for with 4chan.

Someone said once this board actually feels like old 4chan more than anywhere else on site and I'm kind of inclined to agree, it's just anons having fun, arguing and posting dumb pictures there isn't some reddit-tier sticky with a big chart or something, there isn't a push towards conformity or seriousness like on the more political boards, there are more "take us with you" threads of an anon doing something dumb or mundane alone in his house taking pictures along the way, it feels like a stupid and gross internet forum nobody knows or cares about and it's probably the closest you'll get to that feeling anywhere nowadays
