I will never understand why poutine isn't a thing at all here in the US. We like gravy, we love Fries, Cheese goes on everything. It really should be a popular food.

I am central IL and eat cheese curds all the time. My favorite are cajun seasoned ones. Tasty stuff. Also they have poutine in the US, it's called Disco Fries.

making mayo is easy as shit
an egg, a glass of olive oil, a dash of white vinegar, and some salt. Then mix it!
too bad it's not safe to keep it for long in the fridge, so you have to make more every time

I love fried cheese curds at the state fair, but theres something about the texture of non-fried poutine- how it kind of makes a faint squeaking sound on your teeth when you bit into it that sort of turned me off when I tried it.
The only other thing is that I assume you'd have about a 5 minute window to eat them before they turn into soggy mush. I really want to like poutine, but idk. Change my mind Canadananons.
