I'm in the same boat, but every year growing up we always had one of the basic chocolate advent calendars like in this pic.

Also this is the LA Beast setting the world record for eating one. Have to go in numerical order, have to complete swallow the chocolate before opening the next door, and if you tear any doors off you fail.
