Who buys spices in those little tiny containers? You can buy a pound of any of those spices (excepting saffron) for like $15. Stick it in a big jar in your basement and just refill a small jar in your kitchen.

do people buy spices from the grocery store? I just buy in bulk on amazon unless I need some very random one for a very specific recipe

this is retarded, of course the spices are stocked, you only need like 1 of each of those tiny bottles per 20 pounds of meat

panic buying, christmas and a logistics backlog.
it will either raise panic in people enough to cause some riots, or it'll be over before christmass.
also, probably enabled by shops a bit to jack up some prices. going by how it was in 2007, the prices are here to stay, unless competitiuon starts taking a large enough market share.

Was just at Costco you mutha fucka, only thing I didn't find is celery, produce section where the celery should have been was empty, a whole big ass corner :^) The craziest funniest shit I saw was some jewish older guy rolling out the meat plastic bags for a good 1min and then stuffing them in his cart, same with a south east asian, wasn't even mad.

Why do some people on /ck/ cope like this? It's okay to just admit that some white subcultures in the US do not cook well. You don't need to pretend that using lots of spices is somehow a bad practice. Yes, NOT seasoning your food with anything more than salt and pepper is also great if you're working with the kind of ingredients Italians work with, for example, but that doesn't mean that heavily using spices is suddenly bad too. They're just two different methods.
>>17021086
Most people just buy things in supermarkets rather than buying wholesale from wherever you buy your spices.

>it’s a suspect doesn’t understand seasoning volume and rations episode
Jesus Christ, could you imagine if an actual apocalypse occurred? They would steal the seasoning and footlocker stores as if there life depended on it
