Hello everyone!
I'm currently preparing a list of healthy food for my weekly grocery shopping.
Help me complete it!
Thank you

>> No.16993963

The list subtotal is currently $66 CAD. I used to eat junk food a lot and trying to change that :D

>> No.16993966

Also, I already have bread, to go with the peanut butter, so that's why bread is not on the list.

Remove Listerine and include tomatoes. Tomatoes are good for you.
Listerine will cause food poisoning if consumed in large amounts.

Enjoy your tits unless youre a woman then enjoy your tits

ha ha ha, it's just for my breath, after brushing my teeth, I don't swallow that stuff.

red meat is less healthy, and I want to lose some weight at the moment. I'm at 190 lbs at 5 feet 9, and it sucks.

I see you fell for it.

I added tomatoes, and changed the milk for a more healthy milk option, with no lactose in it.

In spite of what the Annals of Internal Medicine study suggests, Dr. Hu says that an accumulated body of evidence shows a clear link between high intake of red and processed meats and a higher risk for heart disease, cancer, diabetes, and premature death.

remove orange juice
French is such a funny language

>> No.16994020

>tofu
too much estrogen
>juice
spikes blood sugar, stick with fresh fruit
>peanut butter
high in omega 6
>>16994000
Try yogurt or kefir if you can't tolerate lactose. Add red meat, fish, butter or olive oil and you should be good for healthy meals.
>>16994004
Then just eat 1-2 servings of red meat a week and avoid processed meat. And don't overcook the meat.

done, what else should I change? this week i'm replacing the milk & sugar that goes into my morning coffee with lactose-free milk, and sugar-free sweetener. >>16994020

so tldr, a bit of meat/fish instead of tofu, remove the juice, peanut butter good, already have olive oil, so I'm all set? :D

im french canadian, on the "dont give a fuck" side too.
So I replaced the tofu with lamb, removed juice, but I still want the milk for coffee, so that stays, but I will actually try kefir for a change.

>> No.16994050

kefir, to try it out on its own,
with 100ml of milk (no fat, no lactose, for coffee)

Yes should be good for the most part.
Consider beans or legumes for non-meat protein. Since you're a Quebecbro just look at what people in France eat and follow that.

Snails and frog legs?

>red and processed meats
And there is the fucking problem. All these garbage meta studies don't differentiate between processed junk food and plain meat. It's hilariously flawed. High quality research show neutral to benefical health outcomes with non processed red meat, and saturated fat. No increase in mortality, no increase in heart disease.

>> No.16994269

>>16994261
They also don't take into account other dietry habits of participants. It's the biggest con going.

5'9, 190lbs
190lbs isn't the problem here child and there's no diet that can make you taller.

Op if you want to lose weight you should try doing cardio. I lose a lot of weight in a few weeks.

Also tofu is not bad but make sure to get enough iron supplments in other parts of your diet. I think you are buying spinach cant tell.

But it looks good for the most part to me. Maybe more protein sources.

>> No.16994309

Nevermind I see eggs and peanut butter too. Maybe some small carbs like noodles

Oui oui merci beaucoup

Enjoy your aspartame cancer. Brown sugar or honey is the way to go if you want to avoid processed white sugar.

Literal cope: the post. And lot's of bullshit too. Processed meats are the worst. But that doesn't remove the fat, salt and heme iron plus the PAHs that come from cooking (usually frying) that red meat has even if they are not "processed".

>> No.16994334

>brown sugar or honey

There's stevia and monkfruit sugar substitutes. Honey is the biggest fucking meme there is.

>> No.16994378

>>16994327
Show me a single non meta study that differentiates processed meat that proves that red meat causes heart disease and diabetes. Should be easy, right? I'll wait.

>> No.16994386

Heme iron in meat is the reason vegetarians become anemic and and omnivores don't. Heme iron toxicity is so rare, it's literally a made up problem. Iron deficiency on the other hand is very common.
