Colored cheddar has existed since the 17th century. It started in England and was used to compensate for the fact that cheese made from grass-fed cattle changes how orange it is throughout the year, since cows milk changes based on the nutrition it gets. Making the orange consistent gave piece of mind to the costumers. The process continues even in the day of industrial processed cattle feeds in markets that identify the orange color with cheddar.

Traduced to English Jarlsberg is Earlsmountain. It's a hybrid of gouda and swiss. Gouda being the most generic boring cheese in existence, it's like the American cheese of Europe, if American cheese was a cheese. So Jarlsberg is really generic boring cheese, yet has hints of something with some actual taste in it. It's a bastard product that excel at nothing, yet it's better than the most boring stuff.
>>16975267
>>16975458
Based. Actually good cheese that can replace Jarlsberg in all cases, yet doesn't suck donkey ass.

I think I may have already posted this last night when I was drunk, but Jarlsberg is very good Swiss-style stuff. It tastes the way a mild Swiss cheese is supposed to taste, and then some. Your (and my) personal opinion/s don't matter. The stuff i almost available in bulk at Walmart, which is a sign that your product has "made it".
