Yeah that does make sense. We have some kefir selection in the markets here, I thought it would be similar in the balkans at least.

yeah i tried that in denmark in last summer. i'm not sure if that one was a decent example of the swedish product since i drank it in a university canteen but it was kinda creamy. idk about the kefir in other countries but here it's really acidic even at the first day. i think filmjölk is kinda softer, hence i liked it.

Tuberculosis was only a big deal in the 1800s because of poor nutrition. Everyone was eating white flour, sugar, dried or canned fruits and drinking skim milk. Governments mandating companies put vitamins back into white flour and cereal was a huge factor in reducing infectious diseases.

Pasteurization quite literally kills all the nutrition of milk by boiling out the good bacteria and enzymes. If you don't have a shitty immune system and are over the age of 10, you should drink raw milk. Pasteurization is a Jewish trick that has done more harm than good and is largely responsible for lactose intolerant people.

Enzymes, certain vitamins, proteins, changes composition of essential fatty acids. Pasteurization is garbage, it throws the baby out with the bathwater in terms of trying to make food safe.
