I went to someone's Friendsgiving just once, and one friend that showed up brought along their S.O. that was a total asshole and really tainted the evening for everyone. That was the last Friendsgiving I ever went to.

Just get your dinner for 4 takeout from the local Publix / honeybaked store catering. Dinner is done. Just warm up in the oven or in microwave, and enjoy your pie and leftovers later. Why do sub-standard food and make your day sad?

If I was doing indian takeout, I'd need the variety you'd get from eating in, seriously, condiments and bread, fried pakora or something with pickles. Onion kulcha, mango chutney. I'd need a raita and a dessert.

this year will be the 7th that I eat thanksgiving alone. except for the one I spent in jail I always cook turkey for myself. one year I didn't have an oven so I got a breast and turned it into tendies.
