My grandpa would do that with slices of cake or cookies. I started doing it and it's not bad. Kind of like a tres leches cake, or tiramisu.

Since I was 4yrs old I have nearly always dropped cookies into my milk glass, drank the milk, then ate the cookie mix down at the bottom. usually by sliding it down the side of the glass into my mouth.

Not relevant but I used to dunk my cookies in water instead of milk because I didnt like milk much as a kid. Really dumb.

When I was a morbidly obese child, I would take the 4 remaining plain cake donuts out of a Freihofer's box of donuts, and crumble it with one hand into a glass of milk for maximum milk absorption volume. Then I'd quaff the mush like I was drinking regular milk. I just called it donut milk. When I got older and could eat more donuts I'd occasionally add the powdered sugar ones too.
