I live in the UK and coffee with cream is not a thing here. Nobody is offering you cream. There is not really any facility in the supermarkets for it either, you get pouring cream, double cream, whipping cream, spray cream etc, but there isn't the half and half or the cartons like when I was living in america. I've also been on holiday to ireland a couple of times mainly the western and southern coasts and cream with coffee was not a thing there either. Nor was it in germany, poland, japan, slovakia, austria, spain, portugal, france etc. In the country where coffee with cream is a thing, you find cream in the dairy section in resealable cartons for 'pouring' and using like that. Here where you can get pouring cream they come in little yoghurt style pots with flap lids that can't be resealed so it makes no sense. Who the fuck going to open a quarter pint of cream to make a coffee? You open one because you are serving a pie or something.

A lot of these whitener/creamers have no dairy in order to meet kosher requirements. So a Jew can have their coffee or tea alongside meat without breaking the "no milk with meat" restriction.

Coffee or tea with cream is/was something of a boomer thing in the UK. It started to disappear around the 80s and most lower end places stopped offering customers the choice between cream or milk and just served milk. Nowadays it's mostly only served in places like hotels and such, though there are some holdouts. I don't think I've been offered the choice of cream or milk in decades now (even longer since they used to ask if you wanted your milk hot or cold).
