I unironically get takeout everyday. I'm OMAD so my grocery bills are light, just things like water, booze, non-food groceries.
I've done this for 3 years now and while I could save a bunch of money by not doing this, I'm still saving plenty because I don't have any debt outside rent and monthly bills like power and internet.

Seems like this is worded carefully to avoid important details.
>A man paid $150 for a season pass...
Just once? Once a year? Once a season?
>He ate there every day for 7 years...
Did he *only* eat there? Even if so, I doubt he lived there. Say he commuted an hour both ways to get there. Negates the free junk food
>He didn't go to a grocery store for years...
Uh so what? Some people never go to grocery stores because they always eat out. Not necessarily thrifty.
>...he paid down his student loans, got married and bought a house.
How much were these loans? And the house? What was his income? If it was high then this is all irrelevant.
>Well paid man pays for things and goes to Six Flags daily for 7 years
Wow it's nothing.

I'm assuming (maybe incorrectly) that this is supposed to be some kind of life hack but I'm not convinced. Someone explain.

The problem with Crisco was the hydrogenation process, not that it was just vegetable oil. Hydrogenation creates an unnaturally high level of unhealthy fat that quickly clogged your arteries. It was terrible and killed a lot of people. Most vegetable oil won't be that bad, but since most vegetables oil is heavily refined it's basically a processed food which is less healthy and should be limited.

Most food seems like junk, but there are a few healthy options.
Not as healthy as cooking everything yourself while being mindful of the nutritional value of all the ingredients, but still not exactly nuggets and fries.
