Ever since the outbreak of the virus so deadly you have to take a test to know you have it, one aspect of my life has majorly improved... I got very picky with restaurants because I go very seldom now because I don't like going through the retarded mask ritual (I live in hell on earth, cook county illinois). I noticed almost all restaurants are basically the same shit these days. I basically stopped eating anywhere that isn't a Korean or Chinese restaurant. And when I want spic food, I just make it at home since it is easy and cheap. DESU I sometimes don't even want to go to the oriental places anymore because I found a lot of the markets have cheater sauces and stocks that allow me to recreate soondubu jjigae or chow ma mian or whatever oriental food I want real easy... Thanks for listening to my blog

I've used Sysco, but currently use US Foods. It is mostly locally sourced because I live in California. Everything is fucked right now because of the supply chain, but the only meme here is that Sysco is some weird supplier that goes out of their way to provide sub-par ingredients. (I don't use them because their prices aren't as good and I've had lots of issues with their customer service.)

Oh, you're a retard. Nobody buys "pizza sauce". People buy tomato sauce, crushed tomatoes, fresh tomatoes, etc., and garlic, olive oil, basil, whatever... That's a completely different symbol with it's own use. "#" before a numeral means "number". "#" after a numeral is kind of archaic shorthand for "pound". Nobody reads "#10 can" and thinks it means "ten pound can".

At least Sysco has kept their shit together, and restaurants using Sysco have no supply problems. Ever since I started working at a place that uses US Foods, it's been a nightmare. If they don't have the product, they don't ask you anything, they just switch it out with some random ass product, the drivers are all immigrants who barely speak English and can barely even drive the trucks (twice in the past month, they've gotten stuck in our alley), and it just all around sucks.
