this is true, plus they use the same bag in a box you can get a sams club. they just have stringent standards:
filtered tap water
constant checks on temperature for proper carbonation
and fast turnover

I know this because the bartending industry uses them as a standard for how beer should be handled and served.

It's the exact same syrup and carbonated water mixture. You may think it tastes better because you are consuming heavily salted food with it. The ice may also play a factor.

I know this is a mcdonalds shill thread, but I find soda from soda fountains is generally better than bottled soda in general; even if it’s a shitty fast food fountain.
I think it’s generally just something about the syrup and seltzer being mixed as they’re poured. Not as homogenous as bottled soda maybe.

Wrong, I get Coke with no ice from McDonald's by itself because it's $1 for a large while a 20 oz is $1.50. Absolutely not the same.

Meanwhile, Burger King sodas are like someone accidentally got a single drop of water in the syrup. Absolutely disgusting. You need a ton of ice to start melting just to get it to a somewhat salvageable mixture.
