Food in NYC

Hey /ckang/, going to NYC for a week during Thanksgiving and looking for places to eat at.
We are hoping to do Per Se or Le Bernardin. We are hoping to get a 3 star and at least another 2 or 1 star in. Gabriel Kreuther looks interesting. Probably will check out Jacques Torres and Fabrique. Also would like authentic italian or chinese food. New York pizza and those types of things. Cliche type of New York food. We don't mind trendy places that "foodies" eat at so you those recommendations will be helpful. Also we don't drink so if there are any bars or restaurants that do excellent nonalcoholic stuff those would be great also.

I never go to NYC without hitting up 32 street's Korean choices, from HMart shopping haul for my hotel room snacks, to Turntable chicken jazz for the wings and amazing sides (too bad you dont drink because the lychee soju is good too). I love the bibimap and all the good pickles, or you can go up upstairs at New Wonjo.

I also like to do my favorite old time Sarge's Delicatessen in Murray Hill for the usual favorites, from chopped liver, good bakery items, giant romanian steak or a giant reuben sandwich, but always a slice of ny cheesecake to go for late night. It is a giant menu with everything you could want.

If you go into Brooklyn, of course you could get the original steak at Peter Luger.

I haven't been since covid started, so dunno what has changed everywhere, but it likely sucks.

Of you ever go to NYC, try this Italian place called Olive Garden. Top notch authentic Italian cuisine. But avoid McDonalds; it does not serve authentic Scottish food. I asked for a haggis; the cashier gave me a funny look. And the Panda Express doesn’t actually serve panda.
