You can fix this easily, keep the dog on a wire mesh so the shit falls through (makes for easy cleaning also), feed the dog on lots of starch, like potatoes and corn, lots of milk too. Not for too long because it will make the dog sick, just enough to make it fat. Then shoot them in the head, bleed them out, and butcher like a goat.
I wouldn't eat any of the organs except maybe the heart. Cook it like how the chinks do. They make all meat tasty

Gavage wont work with dogs. The reason it works so well with waterfowl is because they actually have evolved to eat fuckloads of food before a long migration. You try to gavage a dog and it will just puke it right up. Most young full sized dogs have a hardy appetite just feeding it a mash of corn and/or rice, potato, and milk from a trough till its fat will be good enough. I wouldn't feed it dog kibble though since you really don't want a dog over 6-8 months old anyways.
