Doordash is good only because of thigh stop. It makes wing stop chicken nuggets marginally better because of dark meat.

>> No.16593896

There was some kind of natural disaster going on when I was trying to order through ubereats. They just never delivered my order without any explanation. I stopped using the service entirely because of that.

Uber eats is ok. The rest are garbage

Uber eats if you use promos makes it worth it, but if paying full price a $25 meal becomes $40

>Can I walk in and order thighs
It says you can only do it through doordash. But you are welcome to just go there and try to order thighs. (The thigh chicken nuggets are better than the actual bone-in thighs, as expected of Wing Stop)

It completely depends on the area. I lived for years in a medium-sized college town (50k people) in the middle of nowhere and despite the fact that due to the infrastructure, or lack thereof, there would often be huge traffic jams when classes let out, the drivers were always pretty prompt and would text me if traffic was backed up and usually very friendly. The drivers were mostly college kids trying to make money doing a pretty independent, flexible job and I think that's why they were so good, generally, not only because they probably really needed the money but because they know the entire damn town is full of kids just like them who would happily take the order. Despite the traffic, because the town was so small, there was also really no ability for drivers to get confused about where something is and I'd often get the same drivers.

On the other hand, in cities these services are absolute shit. The drivers are mostly black people and foreigners who just dont fucking care, know they cant really get fired, and seem honestly resentful and spiteful towards customers. I cant count the number of times in cities I've had a driver just abandon an order after 50 minutes, immediately cancel an order because the bill/tip wasnt big enough, get lost in the completely wrong area, and more than once I have seen them legitimately drive in a circle "pretending" to be lost because, I'm guessing, they didnt want to come out to where I was staying and were waiting for me to cancel.

These services are good if you live in a high trust small town kind of area, but absolute trash in cities.

One of the most insulting was when I was staying in Vegas and the Indian driver took 3 fucking hours to get there and then literally screamed at me in the hotel lobby and said if I didnt give him 100$ in cash for his time he wouldn't hand over my food because he got caught in traffic and supposedly, as a delivery driver in Las Vegas, couldnt figure out where the fucking Flamingo (one of the oldest hotels on the strip) was. I told him to fuck off with that shit, that it's not my fault, he chose to take an order he knew was on the strip and that he could sit and spin before I tip him under the table. He screamed for a bit until security asked him to leave because he was seething in the Flamingo's lobby and ended up leaving the food anyway. Then I called grubhub, told them what happened and they not only refunded me, they gave me a gift card, but like I said, it's only worth using if you're NOT some place like Vegas or Chicago or New York or DC all where I've had bad experiences.

Übereats is GOAT in europe, I barely pay more than €10 for 2 proper meals, sometimes I can get 6-8 pizzas for 12€ if the promos stack

>> No.16596128

UberEats is consistently good unless you have a retarded negro driver. Make sure you order from restaurants that wrap up their food when it’s delivered unless you want half of it to be gone though. Also, I ONLY tipped the male drivers unless they were borderline retarded and got lost, late, or fucked with my food. Never gave a single dime to a woman.

I live in an apartment and so many people order from these companies. From 5pm-ngihttime their bikes are constantly blocking access to the building's entrance. If I was brave, had bigger balls and a little more stupid I'd steal one of the bikes or some of the orders. But instead I vent about it on here and build resentment.

>almost die; put myself in palliative care at home (hospitals closed, 811 completely backed up)
>start ordering food on skipthedishes

>everyone is completely stunned
>stay addicted to ubereats and doordash when I switch over to them
>finally quit them about a month ago and barely order anymore except for the occasion
I was ordering every day, multiple times a day for a while. I spent thousands and became so unhealthy. I think the worst thing was when I was invited to a crazy summer car party July 2020 and all my friends were begging me to come, but instead of going, I had anxiety due to my recent weight gain. I then proceeded to eat 60 dollars worth of burger king. :(

Holy shit, anon, I didnt think that was physically possible. Are you still up that high since last year or have you managed to cut back? Best of luck.

>> No.16599606

I've lost about 40 lbs of fat, but my weight has flatlined as I'm gaining muscle from being at work again. It's time to cut back a bit further now. I have stretch marks ALL over my body; it's pretty fucked. Oddly enough, when most people hear that it was 140 lbs, they say "well, we all gained some during quarantine" and completely brush it off. I dunno how the fuck they can gloss over the fact that I gained an entire person's weight in just fat.

look into fasting for best weight loss. other than that using lotion on your skin is pretty crucial during weight loss to prevent loose skin preferably with collagen supplements. reason I mentioned fasting earlier is that autophagy seems to help shrink loose skin too during weight loss though it's all based on anecdotal evidence (personally I've lost 135 pounds in 7 months with no real loose skin). Might also want to do dermarolling. Serrapeptase (on an empty stomach or you might throw up) also helps in breaking down scar tissue which stretch marks are.

>> No.16599719

>>16599678
Yeah, I've been doing IF and multi day fasting for years. I just didn't really do it during quarantine because I would've gone insane. Thanks anon, and I'm going to be documenting my experience with autophagy and stretch marks. If you're interested, I'll definitely post results on /fit/ down the road. or you could give me a throwaway email
