What is the number-one food that tastes better the next day and why is it chicken stew?
I'm too the point now where I make a pot of stew, let it cool down overnight, and reheat it the next day. Eating it the same day is pedestrian tier.

Many (most?) braises do indeed improve after a day or two. The only caveat is if using chicken breast meat in a stew, it may get dry and stringy from reheating rather than immediate consumption. Use thigh meat though and all is good.

Any stew. Not sure why you would choose chicken stew over any other stew unless it is the only thing you can cook right.

I'd humbly suggest spaghetti. Something about the noodles soaking in sauce over night makes it taste even better the next day, even if it might not be as aesthetically pleasing.

What in the holy hell is wrong with you. You never add the sauce to the noodles until you are getting ready to eat them.

objectively #1 stew in the world. fuck beef barley.

>>16577978
agreed, but this is outside the scope of our discussion. fried rice is a transformation of leftovers into something else.

veggie stew is worse the next day. also, fuck beef barley.
