>parents cook hamburgers for 15 minutes to "make sure they're safe to eat"

>> No.16567133

They spent tens of thousands of dollars raising your bitch ass for you to whine about them while posting frogs on the internet.

>Raise valid issue to boomers: they overcook everything
>Their immediate response is to try and guilt you with the fact they raised you, even though that was their decision

Boomers are incapable of dealing with criticism

The right solution is to tell your parents about proper hamburger cooking techniques, even if it's just "if you press it with your finger and it's solid then it's done"

how is that our problem?

I deliberately encouraged my very elderly Jewish neighbours to try my home made covid repellent. It was just pot brownies with speed instead of thc. They both overdosed.

I cook my hamburgers 20 minutes on each side because I cook fresh frozen burgers. As soon as I get home from the butchers I store my heat in the freezer to keep it as fresh as the day I bought it.

>> No.16567233

>>16567222
Thats retarded. It's the process of freezing and unfreezing the meat that worsens the texture, not the amount of time you wait after buying to freeze it

So if they invite you over for dinner ask what they're making first and decline if they're making something you don't like (or just fucking say you'll cook your own). What kind of autism is this that you go to visit your parents and can't even tell them you don't like their cooking?

>> No.16567275

>>16567242
thats not autism anon, if anything thats the opposite of autism

>> No.16567297

>>16567275
Maybe autism isn't the right diagnosis, but if you visit your parents for dinner and can't tell them to stop treating you like a child you definitely have some form of mental illness - or an otherwise unhealthy relationship.

>> No.16567310

Isn't 15 minutes normal? You don't wanna undercook a burger

>> No.16567318

>>16567310
No, anon, it's not normal.

>> No.16567323

>>16567242
No, choosing if your going to visit your parents based on what they are cooking is autistic. Wtf is wrong with you

>> No.16567330

>>16567310
It's a little longer than normal, but not crazy. When I grill burgers (as in made fresh) I cook them for about 6 minutes per side and then let them sit for a minute with the heat off as I let a cheese slice melt on the patty.

>> No.16567332

>>16567323
If they're cooking burgers it's not a special occasion. I see them often enough, and we treat each other like grown adults. Does your mom still cut up your food for you before she plays the rocket ship game?

Sounds like you're 15. In which case your parents are Gen X, not boomers.
>>16567135
Nope. If you're leeching of your parents as an adult, you don't get to complain about the food they provide to you free of charge.
>>16567183
Maybe if you want a burger cooked YOUR way, YOU can buy the meat and cook it yourself? Just a crazy idea.
>>16567194
Dunno man. If you give me free shit every day for 20 years and I bitch about it like a little cunt, would you get annoyed?

you will "never understand" why an adult might choose NOT to bitch and moan about being fed and clothed free of charge? disturbing.
