I love fast food but I'm constantly on the lookout for deals. Coupons, app deals, whatever. It needs to be roughly a 'buy one get one free' type of deal for me to get any fast food. I almost never get drinks or fries because those are such huge margin items. I pretty much always spend $4-7, rarely any more than that

Over 5 years ago I ran the drive through at a taco bell. We shared a parking lot with a hy-vee.
The amounts people spent on a single meal could buy me weeks of groceries.

"Wow, your prices are so low!!" "Wow what a deal!!"
They were getting robbed.

The saddest parts were people spending thier last dollars for a small snack. Or their card declining.
Convinoince is povertys best friend.

The part that angered me was that the owner lived in Florida. Money from my community was traveling across the country to fund this man's pleasures.

No, i've cut my spending down to 6-8 bucks per meal. Occasionally I'll treat myself and get like 14+ of food, but rarely. Go for the combo/budget meals they offer, usually cheaper than buying the bits individually.
