I usually have a few big plates of high protein stir fry, a large size halal snack pack, steak with veg or pizza for my meal.

How long do you run? A hour maybe cuts 500 calories, that's one slice of pizza. Merely existing burns about 1800 in a day, so you are way better off just putting in a day of not eating. How close attention have you paid attention to this strategy? I've found that even the more effective weight loss exercises (like rucking) are not effective. An hour of exercise can maybe offset one snack. And the physical burden of that is so high that from the fitness / sport perspective you're better off not doing that every day.

You're better off making diet sacrifices and then using exercise as a means to speed up weight loss from that. And even then I probably wouldn't bother unless it improved aesthetics beyond the weight loss (weights), not that my clothed appearance has ever suffered due to weight.

Not quite right and I think you're getting off topic.

You will burn more calories for the next 2 days or so after you exercise. So it's a very temporary metabolism increase. Weight lifting is a bit better since muscle mass itself is linked to a higher metabolism, and muscle lasts longer than two days. But for the most part your smart watch / treadmill calculator does take that into account, so the couple hundred calories it says you have burned you will burn, just over a longer period of time.

That does shit on the idea of fasted exercise though.
