What is your favorite recipe to make /ck/? For me, it's braised short ribs. They are generally pretty easy to make, relatively cheap, and a huge crowd pleaser. pic not related

2-4-B is the only correct answer.

Also favourite recipe is pressure cooker (not the faggy instant pot) pulled pork. You make a delicious mexican spice vinegar tomato sauce and pressure cook the pork in that. After you cook the pork you reduce the sauce with the pork in it. You capture all the pork juices and fat into the sauce and this sloppa will last for over a week, plus pork shoulder is one of the cheapest cuts you can buy.

pic not mine but somewhat related.

The instant pot kind work too and actually make a decent (not rice cooker caliber) rice. If you've gotta have the real thing, https://www.amazon.com/T-fal-Stainless-Dishwasher-Pressure-6-3-Quart/dp/B00K0JY7XW/ref=sr_1_2?dchild=1&keywords=T-Fal+Clipso+Pressure+Cooker&qid=1627077376&sr=8-2
Is the one I have and really like it.

I don't actually know what's a good pressure cooker in 2021 honestly could be an instant pot. I got mine in 2013 (around the time of the boston bombing) and I remember getting IDed, it was a lagostina 6 litre stainless steel pressure cooker. I use it on the stove top so I can sear things really well since my gas stove can get pans pretty hot. The only downside of a stove top cooker is the risk of burning the bottom of your stew if you're not careful and leave the stove on high, or don't have enough liquid inside.

My recommendation is to get something made of stainless steel and go for a bigger pressure cooker. preferably 8 litres, I regret not splurging for a bigger one at the time.

Most of the pressure cooker recipes you're going to find are going to be instant pot-centric but don't dismiss them if you go the traditional route. My traditional version cooks slightly quicker than the IP but most any recipe can be used for both. Pulled pork is always a good place to start because unless it's dried out beyond belief even mediocrely cooked meat is still very edible with a good sauce. The one that >>16460744 described is one I haven't tried but sounds awesome.

Nothing really. I just want to gatekeep pressure cookers since i got them in 2013 when they weren't the new hip trendy thing. I just hate when I talk about pressure cooking things and people say "oh you mean an instant pot?", when pressure cookers have existed for almost a century.

If you can get a good sear in an instant pot then I wholeheartedly recommend them

And I know I'm gonna get bullied for this but my absolute favorite dish is basically something a kid would come up with and is pretty unhealthy so I don't eat it often but, hotdogs cut in small pieces alongside a bunch of diced onions tossed into a pan and get em both nice n brown with beans on the side and I'll top everything once it's in a plate with hand crushed corn flake cereal... my mom also likes to add cheese to hers. Simple and silly but tastes great and I'd eat it everyday if I could.

well, im more or less poor so I'm content with cooking similar things for a while then when i get bored I make other stuff. If I dont wanna make anything new I make something old.

I've been making baked beans for a while, and I really like em. When I had shoulder I made I made my own tacos. Fried rice is easy and yummy. Jambalaya when I had shrimp was pretty good too.
That's all I can think of to compete for "favorite". Its all usually nothing special tho. I think I just like bbq stuff, so braised short ribs sound pretty good.
