I had porkchops with brussel sprouts last night and there were leftover pork chops. Today I took those pork chops and cup them up into small pieces and threw them in a tortilla wrap and put some mustard.

This is something I would never serve anyone else but its cheap, using leftovers, and tastes okay I guess but I'd rather eat that than go make/pay for more new food. Am I the only anon that does this and also what are some of your creations similar to this?

I think a lot of people (most women) would find what I do blasphemous. "you can't put a pork chop in a torilla, that isn't a thing, chicken maybe so its a chicken wrap" its like improvise, adapt, overcome isn't engrained in their DNA like it is mine or something. I also find people freak out when you have sides that don't "go with" the main course. "What do you mean brisket with spaghetti squash and asparagus. You're supposed to have mac & cheese, baked beans, & tater salad!"

Sure, but if it’s just you and you don’t mind then who’s the wiser? There are no rules when it comes to food, OP. If you and your wallet are happy but you serve food the “right way” for your guests, then it’s all good. Maybe don’t advertise your necessity meals if it’s a source of insecurity.

...anon, you put meat in a tortilla. Not exactly MacGyver.

lol....all the fucking time OP. Usually it's out of hunger coupled with either a lack of time or sheer laziness. Throwing away leftover is blasphemous, and anyone that bats an eye at eating real food for a morning meal is an idiot. All hail breakfast soup.

this is just the beginning... soon you'll be adding leftover protein and vegetables to ramen!

All of latin America would disagree
