But my favorite experience was at Marunaka in Fujieda, famous for breakfast ramen. I was there around 8am, the only westerner in a packed restaurant. I got a few questions an about if it was delicious and if I loved ramen.
And then the real fun was walking back to my apartment, about 3 hours away.

This was from a little ramen counter in Saporro that opens at like 10pm and runs all night. It was delicious, but a bit sad that the owner wants to make other kinds is ramen but this one is so popular he can't.

This soupless ramen at Noodle Stand Tokyo was so good I actually went back months later to have it again. Absolutely incredible.
