I used to make myself a big bowl of fruit salad for breakfast every day, been having that for 2-3 months now
Since a couple days ago, I stopped having this for breakfast. Noticed I get dizzy in the morning - is this normal? Am I having some kind of fructose withdrawal or something? I'm not overweight btw and I eat healthily

>> No.16365118

Well are you having ANYTHING for breakfast? That might be it. Try seeing if taking vitamin c supplements (with a meal, they're useless without one) helps.

Sugar withdrawals probably

That's what I figured
Probably best to gradually decrease the amount of fruit that i eat for breakfast then rather than all at once?

Go to a doctor. Don't fuck around with neurological weirdness. It's okay if they laugh at you for being a hypochondriac. There are worse things in life. "I'm going through sugar withdrawal." All right nonny, here's your essential oils, your salt lamp, and some hippy shit to read. Try to relax.

Protein takes much longer to metabolize than the immediate sugars in fruit. You are basically exhibiting fasting symptoms (not a bad thing, btw).

A light dizziness after fast break with protein is normal, as the body redirects blood toward the digestive region but sugars are not present to “sugar coat” things. If you are inclined, you could taper by eating both, but decreasing fruit over time until your body has no expectation of a sugar high upon awakening.

check your blood pressure throughout the day with one of those at-home deals, like $20 at walgreens or whatever. this happened to me recently and it was just abnormally high blood pressure, which I got back down by smoking a cigarette and eating a bag of beef jerky

Are you drinking enough water after you wake up? You'd be getting a decent amount of water from the fruit but if you stopped eating it and didn't start drinking more water instead to make up for that you could be slightly dehydrated.

I drink a glass of water after waking, I assume that's enough?
>>16366698
It wasn't giant, just a decent size. Would you prefer if I ate a bowl of haribos for breakfast?
>>16366692
Good call, might do that

>> No.16366765

Anon this probably has to do with your blood. Fruit is very cleansing if you stopped that to eat eggs you're gonna get sick. To prove this to yourself do two things. One sit up against a wall with your legs up, so they are on the wall and you're lying on your back on the ground. Feel the blood from your legs. Second, lay on a bed or couch and hang your head off the side so the blood goes to your head. If you get dizzy sensations from these then you know it's your blood.

>I drink a glass of water after waking, I assume that's enough?
If you're no longer thirsty after that then yeah, you just need to drink enough until you feel satisfied rather than consistent measurements. Sometimes I'll feel a little groggy in the morning and really thirsty, I'll end up drinking about a quart of water and actually feel a little energy boost from that. But then some other mornings I'll only drink about a pint.

Yeah I thought maybe it's low blood sugar or something, need to try to get it measured
>>16366772
I try my best to stay hydrated most of the time, so I don't think it's the water
