How do I cook bacon without getting burned by little globules of grease? Is there a skillet hat I can use?

I just keep the heat on the low side and rarely have problems with this.
Also, start with a cold pan and flip frequently.
It make take slightly longer, but I never end up with crispy overcooked bacon or the grease pops this way.

Buy better quality bacon, it's spitting because there's too much water in it. Alternatively just put a lid over the frying pan.
