Forgive me /ck/ for I have sinned. I combined multiple flavors to create this sloppa.

First I threw in a can of Vienna sausages with its chicken broth in a pan, then I threw in chopped onions, soy sauce and minced garlic. After heating it for a bit I threw in red chilli flakes (1/3 cup) and salt and pepper to taste. Afterwards I mixed in my stuffing sloppa and let it hot.

Finally threw it back in its container and am enjoying it to some anime.

It tastes very close to a teriyaki flavor, and for some reason I thoroughly enjoy it.

Sounds horrible, but like most sloppa is probably decent.
Sloppa is an enigma.

>Forgive me /ck/ for I have sinned
The correct line is "Bless me (father) for I have sinned." Catch up on your catechesis, home slice(and go to reconciliation if you haven't been recently).

Inventing new sloppa is what /ck/ should be all about my man

a literal american invention, the rite of of penance does not dictate either "forgive me, father" or "bless me, father"

That's not authentic sloppa until you add an entire sleeve of town house crackers

Then what does it entail? Please direct me to the latin form?

“When the penitent comes to confess his sins, the priest welcomes him warmly and greets him with kindness. Then the penitent makes the Sign of the Cross which the priest may make also, [saying] ‘In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.’ The priest invites the penitent to have trust in God, in these or similar words: ‘May God, who has enlightened every heart, help you to know your sins and trust in his mercy.’ The penitent answers: ‘Amen.'

That's from a quick google, my 62 missal is at home at the moment. If the threads still alive in a few hours I'll post the exact latin

There's nothing wrong with bless or forgive, ultimately it's permitted to greet the priest in whatever custom you both prefer. American priests just tended towards 'bless', with a few regions to this day going with 'forgive'

I think it's nice to open with that and to let the priest know how long it's been since your last confession. They can tailor some of their advice towards your situation. I really like the retired bishop that tends to hear mine, and I'm sad that he's going to be taking even more of a step back.
