Why is it that they need to lie about how much a waiter is paid by any restaurant. As far as I remember, absolutely none of Puck's restaurants pays the foh servers a 120k salary. They are lucky if to get a salary of 30-40k in any fine dining restaurant. The majority of the take home is from tips. Yet journalists and schmuck restaurant owners act like that the restaurant itself is paying the employee's full income annually. It really is time to abolish the custom of tips.
