That sentence can't be completed because unlike water as a beverage there is no single ingredient or food you could eat exclusively and live long healthy life. I'm sure we could invent some sort of carb fat and protein loaded multivitami that made us feel full, but even then the psychological effects of the lack of variety would bear down on us and our body would naturally crave other things. Whereas plenty of people drink nothing but water and crave nothing else and even a diabetic soda addict could comfortably sustain himself on water after enough time.
