What kind of wine? Supposedly some people don't react well to the higher tannin content of red wine. And some people say the sulphites in wine can make them sick. Drinking on an empty stomach can also cause problems if you did that.

It's also possible that you just drank a bit too much if you normally have beer and aren't used to wine which is stronger. Most of your described symptoms sound like someone who just drank a bit too much. Not sure exactly how much you drank but a "glass" of wine should only be around 5 oz.

Worst I ever felt from drinking was wine. Computer was fucked and I was months without liquor so I drank like half a bottle of win in like 5 minutes.
Could not even hold water or eat the next day, basically bedridden from my stomach.
And I have had a ludicrious amount of the lowest quality plastic bottle vodka around, but never been sicker than that.
