Every monthly associate meeting was centered around how they're competing with amazon, and Walmart is buying every other online retailer in existence. Walmart warehouses are the same. They track your production by X amount of cases per hour depending on which area you're in. If you're under 95% production, you get a write up. The guys in shipping have to hand stack 3000 fucking cases per hour inside hot ass trailers. You normally get a cost of living wage increase every year, until they announced that we were competing too much with amazon and couldn't afford a raise that year....oh and also you have to be at 100% production, not 95%.
Our GM actually said "we're in a fight right now, and when you're in a fight you don't give 95%, you give 100%".

Amazon is on a downward trend in quality thanks to shitty supply chain management, so I doubt it.

Prime Delivery is spotty as to whether or not it will be in the two day window (even if it's a promise date when you order). It seems like 90% of what is sold on the site is questionable Chinese garbage and I have serious doubts about their supply chain security as a result.

I find myself more inclined to shop at big box stores again for certain things precisely because I don't trust the Amazon supply chain.

No it was more lenient, three steps, all in different categories, and they take 6 months to fall off. Attendance, safety, procedure, and production.
It takes three write ups to get to a Step 1, two more for a Step 2, one more for Step 3, and thats your last chance. So 7 writeups per categorie, for example you can be on a Step 3 for production, and a Step 3 for attendance at the same time.
But here's the shitty part; they have ten thousand different rules and they make up new ones all the time. If someone wants you gone, all they have to do is follow you around for a couple days.
