And the tables used to have Old Timey newspaper ads laminated onto the particle board (you can see an example of this in the background table in >>16074287) to go with their motto of being the home of Old-Fashioned hamburgers.

Also ancient Subway's like this one that had the Mustard Yellow color fascia, and those Turn-of-the-Century Subway Metro Station Wallpapers over everything. I distinctly remember mine like this and how it even smelled different than modern ones do (used to have an ambient aroma more onion-y with heavy condiments, not bready like now which isn't a worse change than before just very different from memory unless I'm getting the 'heimer's disease).

Right up until the early 00s fake interior plants and salad bar stations with old pizza hut roofs on them were all the rage weren't they? The only restaurant I can think of that isn't a buffet which still has one locally now is Ruby Tuesday's Garden Bar.
