one thing I actually liked was Pero, it's this instantized roast-grain drink powder. Roast rye, barley, chicory, etc. in the blend. Similarly caffeine-free, with a unique deep flavor. Stir into hot water, black or creamandsugar. Been a while since I had some in the house, but I'd use it as a decaf option for dunking evening-desserts.
