Remember to skim top as soup base cooks. It's okay if fur gets in at this point cus you'll remove it, but have a furnet/human handy for later. A delicious odor will begin filling ur den so try not to drool and maintain dignity.

After 2 hrs simmering and a bit of skimming, your stock will look like this. Resist your natural urge to eat it and instead strain out the veggies/meat to leave behind a clear stock. Refrigerate overnight uwu

Once strained you'll be left with liquid gold. Delicious. Put in fridge overnight to allow it to seperate

Once you wake up the next day, your stock will look like this. It'll have an almost jelly like texture- do your best to skim off the fatty deposits on the surface. Don't forget to treat yourself, self care is critical

Last big step! Collect the necessary ingredients for your final soup. You may need to raid a hiker back pack or two, but what you'll want to collect are:

-Thyme
-Rosemary
-Peppercorns
-seasoning salt
-parsley
-garlic powder
-basil
-assorted root veggies (frozen is completely fine)
-lemon juice

Chop/Add veggies to stock, add a pinch of each spice, add one squirt of lemon juice. I saved the meat from boiling the stock earlier to add back in at this step- remember to debone if you do the same. Set soup to a simmer...

Now you might be asking yourself: where are the noodles at?

The answer: in a separate pot. I find that cooking the noodles with the soup and then storing it causes them to go soggy. Much better to keep them separate and add only what you need per bowl

You could also use them for pasta salads or whatever. What's a salad? My deer friend was trying to get me on board with them but they sound kinda lame. I ate him, anyways~

Add a splash of olive oil to your noodles to help prevent sticking. Taste the soup as it cooks and adjust flavor as needed- you'll 100% need to add a bit more salt and other flavors to your liking. If you have it, a few splashes of soy sauce goes a long way to deepen flavor and color

When your veggies and noodles are cooked firm but soft and your flavor is how you want it....congrats! Your wolf noodle soup is complete- let it cool and then dig in so you don't burn your tongue

BONUS: I made some herb rolls on the side to go with my soup- having fresh bread with a hot broth on a cold day will warm up anyone, highly recommended if you're trying to snag that werewolf husband you're hunting.

Thx for tuning in and until next time

Rolls were an afterthought really. Basic Flour/Water/Salt/Yeast, 2 rises, knead in rosemary/thyme/garlic powder and shape into balls, bake at 400f for around 15 mins

>cooking noodles separate

You're bringing a lot of water into the dish like this, though.

The best solution I've found is simply to load up the dish where you're going to eat from with the soup (times the amount of dishes that are going to be eaten immediately) and put that into another pot. Then cook the noodles into that.

This way you get perfect noodles, and you can keep the main pot of still-noodleless soup in the fridge.
