It's a common belief that any animal product is the result of abuse. To a degree I can get that, a lot of animals are treated like shit, but if people really have a problem with that then with eggs especially I feel like the best alternative is to make a farm where you treat the chickens well. The whole thing about eggs is that chickens drop them regularly when fed regularly and they don't need to be fertilized so you're not necessarily killing so much as a potential organism.

The only vegan meatlike thing that I can understand is sausages and even then most seem to be terrible. If I ever went vegan I'd just continue to make fruits/vegetables as I do since they're already most of my diet. I'd have to give up the butter and bacon grease for olive oil but I already do that sometimes anyways if I'm running low on the animal fats.

I still think the only thing they did wrong was severely overestimate the average person’s ability to pay basic attention to what they’re buying.

I smelled JUST egg once. it smells like garlic or onion or some shit. Which means not only is it processed imitation egg, but you cannot use it for baking things like cookies, pancakes, brownies, or cake.
