Korean BBQ with my 2 brothers and their wives. It was the kind with a buffet line of raw meat to take back so it counts. The women kept bitching about their hair and clothes smelling like smoke and meat while my brothers and I pounded soju, Hite and meat and rice. That was a good ass day.

How do you prepare yourself for an all you can eat buffet?
I don't eat anything for 24 hours before hand, then i drink 3 litres of water a few hours before to stretch out my stomach.

Has anybody else noticed that COVID has been absolute HELL on buffets? I've seen some random restaurant closures here and there as a result of the pandemic, but universally the one group of restaurants that has closed without exception has been buffets. I'm not even a big buffet visitor and am in a pretty small midwestern town, but our Golden Corral, a continental place, and a Chinese buffet have all closed down. The Chinese place was the only one I really visited, but I started to notice the trend.

For some reason, buffets really fell out of favor where I live, and I haven't been to one since, not that I can find any close by. What I remember as chinese food growing up as a young kid in Hong Kong

Americans have no idea how bad it really is. No one in china knows what the fuck beef and broccoli is or sweet and sour pork. Chinese food is disgusting. Literally the worst parts to eat of any animal. Makes sense because chinks are the race of humans closest to animals. They make disgusting noises when they eat, slurp everything, men in the streets lift their fucking wife beaters over their sweaty stomachs while laughing and chewing with their mouths full of food. Like what kind of idiot decided 2 sticks is the most practical way to eat grains of fucking rice. Starving Nigerians who eat grass have a better diet than the average chinese.

i used to work in corporate for caesars entertainment in vegas so i ate at bacchanal for free most of the time and even though i hate buffets, before i quit i went by myself and ate oysters and crab legs until i was almost sick and honestly i'm happy they're dead, hopefully no one will ever drag me back again
