Do okay with hard cheeses.

Could be worse, OP. I have a friend who developed celiac which basically means no more wheat products ever.

Happened to me at 21. I ate my cereal with milk every damn day and then practically overnight a bowl of milk would make my intestines spew diarrhea hard enough to cut glass. I still drink de-lactosed milk but I've had to cut out pretty much everything else except cheese and yogurt.
