Not him but I work for a real estate management company in a very predominantly Latino area (its an east coast sanctuary city) and more than once Ive gone into apartments to see how repairs were going, and these tenants who struggle to pay their rent have huge TVs, new smart phones and designer shoes. Its not a Latino thing though. Its a poor people thing, they make shitty financial choices and stay poor as a result. I mean, I make more than enough to afford my 1 bedroom apt for $1560 a month and I still use an iPhone 8+ while some of our tenants have the newest electronics all the time, thats why they stay broke and I’ve paid off my student loans (for an MSc) at 29 and have no debt.
