I've been buying these lately. I don't know why they call it tonkotsu when it's a chicken broth, but the broth is nice, rich, and creamy like a classic tonkotsu broth would be so I can't complain. Yesterday I just seared up a chicken thigh to top it with along with some carrot shreds and it was tasty.

Nissin Raoh miso is the best Nissin one.
For me though, I always come back to classic Maruchan chicken (in pack form, not that shitty cup with the dried vegetable decorations forced into it).
I drain the water all the way after boiling the noodles and then fry an egg to go with the chicken flavor pack. Greek yogurt is a nice addition to if you're looking to get more calories and protein in, though skinny people are becoming increasingly less common as time goes by so that probably isn't useful advice anymore.

Original cup noodle is amazing. Broth and little bits taste great. Impossible to import for cheap nowadays. They brought over the “original” version of these to the west which are close enough but lacks MSG and changes the little meat cubes. They’re acceptable I guess.

Mama makes the best basic chicken noodles, i also really love the creamy shrimp tom yum flavor, goes really well with a splash of cream. there was also another brand which name eludes me, it had an angry chicken in the packaging. i remember that the 3x spicy variety was way too hot, it felt more like eating pure capsaicin than anything with chili on it (the spicy chicken curry variety was pretty good tho). sadly those noodles were quite expensive so i didn't eat them a lot.

Noodles definitely tasted and felt more natural than most other instant ramen.
Definitely needs to be doctored with some veggies or meat, it's quite creamy and you just need something to break up the texture.
The flavor in my opinion was really meh especially for the amount of sodium in it. It wasn't bad but I wouldn't have it again. This and Maruchan Gold spicy miso where the only instant noodles I didn't care for taste wise.

This opinion does come from a pleb who has never had "real" ramen so keep that in mind.
