I tried one of their new chicken sandwiches yesterday and it was pretty garbage. It's better than a McChicken but that isn't saying much. They learned none of the lessons from the places they're trying to copy. CFA both pickle brines their breasts AND has a nicely seasoned breading, and Popeye's has good breading with a different texture. McD's has neither the great texture of brined chicken nor any sort of decent flavoring on their breading.

It's always boggled my mind to know that the Double Big Mac isn't a standard menu item everywhere in the continental US. Seriously, all "amerifat" jokes aside, McDonalds is far more daring and aggressive with their big burgers outside the overly sensitive US market. McDonalds Canada has always had the Double Big Mac, and had the Angus burger up until the memevirus. McDonalds UK keeps rereleasing the "big as your face" Big Tasty burger.
