I've done it with marinara and garlic sauce, but very rarely. The big pizza chains here usually offer sauces for free or very cheap with an order, so it's just an afterthought you can throw in.

In Indiana we dip pizza in nacho cheese, like pic related. It's not quite the same as like baseball stadium nacho cheese though, it generally has some peppers and spices in it and has a looser less plasticky texture

Dipping your pizza in a bit of nacho cheese or topping it with a bit of ranch, hotsauce, or even mayo is good. Marinara and garlic sauce is also good for dipping your crust. You're just mad you don't have the balls to dip.
