My money isn't going as far as it used too. Groceries used to cost $60 is now around $90.

This sucks, man. I'm too poor for this shit.

Most people who complain about the cost of groceries are also those who buy too many prepared or convenience foods.

Just wait till they make minimum wage $15 and companies use it as an excuse to jack up prices another 30-50%.

Stock up when meat is on sale and learn to use things like chicken thighs and pork shoulder that are regularly under $1 per pound. Buy healthy cheap stuff like dry beans which have a low glycemic index.

Also, I don’t know where you shop, but start going somewhere cheap that still has good produce like Aldi. Look at the ads, and stock up on non perishables when they’re on sale.

oh it is going to get a lot worse
California opened up and now has a water futures market where speculators and hedge funds can buy future water rights. This will likely jack up all kinds of water costs out there and ruin some of the largest fruits and vegetable grows as water goes from expensive to insanely expensive.

I struggle to get fresh food at a sensible price.
The cheap vegetables you buy aren't particularly nutritious, and the supermarket ones are just hydro trash.
I'm seeing everything rapidly rise in cost, and am actively working on a plan to overcome this.
>drastically reduce meat consumption
>consume far more beans, pulses
>grow for fiber, salad greens and herbs
>buy dried products in bulk
>stop buying anything pre-made

This happened in Australia and it was a disaster, the common resources must never be available for private sale because immediately some Jew buys and dumps to manufacture scarcity

Thank God I live right in the middle of some of the most fertile land in the PNW, combined with a big Seventh Day Adventist community that ensures a ton of locally grown produce for a solid 15% less than what I'm getting at chain stores.
