How do I reheat pizza without it getting soggy?

I would recommend low and slow in a oven, possibly wrapped in tinfoil.
If you have to use a microwave....get a paper towel wet, ring out excess water, then place it over your pizza on a plate. cook it just long enough to make it hot. It should still be moist and the bread wont be tough or soggy.

The water will "jump" into the cup through reverse osmosis. Maybe jump is the wrong word, but you get what I mean.

If you're still so concerned about the cup, then you can try covering it with one of your spare N95 or KN95 masks, whatever you have available.

>> No.15553592

>>15553318
>>15553403
The water isn't going to get hot enough to steam anything. If you heat pizza without the cup of water, the pizza absorbs all the microwaves, which messes with the sauce and makes the crust soggy. The cup of water acts as a microwave sink by absorbing some of the microwaves, which helps the pizza heat more evenly, leading to less sogginess.
You can try this out. Put a cup of water next to a slice of pizza like in >>15552801 and microwave them for 45 seconds or less.
