Prior place has a gas stove, just moved into a new place with an electric stove. The curvature of the wok i think is the huge issue in terms of temp over the flatter electric surface. It would slot in over a gas stove which evened out the temp quite a bit.
Fucker toxic roommate stole the cast iron when he moved out so I haven't been able to try it on that.
