I don’t get the concept of vegan meat.
Vegans (at least the vast majority) believe that eating meat is morally reprehensible, subhuman act; that it’s torture and murder.

Yet they champion the development of products designed to simulate the sensory experience of doing it, finding ways to make it look/taste more realistic, and then finally celebrating the Impossible/Beyond products as ‘revolutionary’ and “as good as the real thing”. They know eating meat is a pleasurable experience; they just believe it’s cruel, and want to replicate the experience in a way that doesn’t cause pain or create a ‘victim’ in the process.

How is this any different than investing tons of research/development into creating realistic loli sexdolls and improving them over time, eventually celebrating the introduction of a ‘revolutionary’ loli sex-droid which approaches “the real thing”?

Whoever said that is making shit up. I eat meat because I struggle to digest most plants. If I ate purely for taste I'd probably be a lacto vegetarian.
But I can't digest a LOT of plants. Especially certain grains and legumes.

1/4 of a grass fed and finished cow feeds me for OVER half a year. The foods I actually digest the best are organs and other "less desirable" parts of the animal. But muscle meat is also digested cleanly.

I'm not against them per se but I'll take a real burger any day over plant based burgers. I did have one impossible burger that was rather good but I think it was more about the other ingredients making up the burger being amazing and that the party was grilled over a real flame grill, and i opted for real cheese on it.

It was really about that flame grilled flavor, the real cheese, the lettuce and onions being fresh and crisp, and paired with a great sauce. I was eating at a good restaurant with great ambiance and I was drinking awesome beers. It all just worked well. But if I'm making a burger for myself then I'm using beef, there's no way around that.

The Impossible Burger wasn't even vegetarian in the early rollout. Partner restaurants were encouraged to prepare it with bacon and such, because meat eaters are a fragile bunch who believe a meal without meat will give them the gay.

Depends on the brand and it's not exactly healthy, either, but if you're conscious of reducing your meat consumption then sometimes it's a good substitute.

I particularly prefer the brand in OP, in my experience it tastes the closest to real ground beef. I usually use it to make tacos, sloppy joes, anything I'd use ground beef in desu.

It tastes really, really bad. I got a beyond slider from white castle and it was so disgusting I couldn't even finish it. A SLIDER. And I am not a picky person, I like ground turkey and I've had veggie burger patties and enjoyed them. I am willing to give stuff a chance. It is just VERY BAD.
One time in college, I bought pic related as a joke. It's a powdered hamburger kit- the bun, cheese, meat, ketchup, and soda were ALL powdered. Of course it was absolutely fucking disgusting. It STILL tasted better than the beyond meat white castle slider

Vegan burgers are worse for your health. If you dont go ful green, you exchange hormons with pesticides. To get a similar taste you get a combination of deadly ingredients. Somehow you need to put the flavour into and keep it. While meat is naturally that way.
