Having before a steak or seafood dinner? Unparalled delicious. Crunchy, bitter, creamy, funky cheesy. Amazing croutons, esp homemade.

But #1 salad? I'm gonna go Cobb salad. It is just so many of my favorite things at once: bacon, poached or grilled chicken or steak, yummy hard boiled eggs, roguefort blue cheese and I always use blue cheese dressing both I just love my blue cheese! Ripe tomatoes, ripe avocado, maybe some crisp onion and croutons, a mix of good greens. Maybe some sprouts, even.
