I ended up ordering a fuckton of shelf-stable curries like paneer makhani (my favorite) for only $2.50 each. With sona masoori rice each pack makes 2 meals, which is pretty darn cheap

desu I wouldn't call myself a 'prepper'. I have 160+ MREs but I got them all for free over the course of a couple years since my unit over-ordered (or people would just go out to eat or have snacks instead of eating them). I like them a lot so supply would just give me cases of them. I don't consider my ammo 'prepping' either. We had 3 really good years of cheap ammo in bulk so I stocked up. I probably spent less than $6k on ammo (there is a lot you dont see in the picture) but I ran the calculations a couple weeks ago, and in todays market its worth ~$18k.
