I've always been a fan of the Spicy Italian (if you live in Merricka and don't have to close-talk with people at work).

My "Special" that become somewhat of a local favourite while I was a Sandwich Artist was a BLT with double meat, extra cheese and BBQ sauce.

Finally, the more heroic and refreshing, under-appreciated sandwich is the Seafood Sensation with lots of salt & pepper, yes get the cheese and keep the veggies of the fresh and crisp variety - lettuce, bell pepper, onion, etc. It's better with a little extra mayo †bh but if you aren't a biggy bum fatty fat fat you can hold off on that.

I haven't been to subgay in at least 3 years, but I used to alternate between the spicy italian with oil and extra vinegar, or the oven roasted chicken surrogate with ranch. Occasionally I'd put mustard on the spicy Italian if I was feeling rebellious

For me, it's still the meatball. Unlike Quiznos, Subway still has a mostly unchunky marinara which I prefer. You just have to remember to tell them to toast the bread ONLY since the meat and sauce are already kept hot (just like they've always been) and you don't want to burn your mouth.
